Dear Reader,

I have been thinking about beginnings lately.

Not the dramatic kind — the ones we rehearse in our minds, the ones that require the right moment, the right conditions, the right version of ourselves. I have been thinking about the other kind. The quiet kind. The kind that happens on an ordinary Tuesday morning when you make one small, honest choice that is even a little bit different from the choice you made the day before.

That is the beginning I am writing to you about this month.

June asked you to reset. To pause. To exhale. To look at the life you had been living and ask, with real honesty, whether it was the life you actually wanted. That kind of reckoning takes courage — more than most people realize — and if you did it, even imperfectly, even just for a moment, I want you to know that I see you. That was real work.

But a reset is only the beginning of the beginning. And that is what July is for.

The theme of this issue is The Power of Small Shifts — and I chose it deliberately, because I have spent decades watching people try to change their lives in ways that are too large, too fast, and too hard on themselves. I have watched the momentum collapse under the weight of the expectation. I have watched people conclude that they are the problem, when the actual problem was the size of the step they were trying to take.

I want to offer you a different invitation this month.

What if the shift you need is not a revolution? What if it is a single honest conversation, a five-minute walk, a meal eaten more slowly, a morning where you breathe before you reach for your phone? What if transformation is not the destination at the end of the road, but something that is already happening in the small, repeated, intentional choices you make every single day?

I believe it is. I have seen it too many times to believe otherwise.

Inside this issue you will find articles that meet you exactly where you are — whether you are just beginning to wake up to the life you want, or you have been on this path for years and simply need to be reminded that the small steps count. That coming back counts. That you count.

You do not need to be further along. You do not need to have it figured out. You need only be willing to take one small, true, courageous step in the direction of the life that is asking to be lived through you.

I am honored to be walking this path alongside you.

With warmth and belief in your becoming,
